A tragic accident occurred in Shymkent, resulting in the death of a 10-year-old child. On February 11, a large tree branch collapsed in the courtyard of a residential apartment building in the Enbekshinsky district.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident took place between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. near building No. 114 on Yelshibek Batyr Street. Due to heavy snowfall, part of the tree broke off and fell onto the child.
The boy suffered severe injuries and died at the scene before an ambulance arrived. He was a fourth-grade student at Secondary School No. 36 and lived with his mother.
A source in law enforcement agencies confirmed the information. So far, no official comments have been released by authorities.
